That's why I'm so excited about this new community of handmade sellers, Little Vittles. This is an online site where you can buy and sell handmade food. Yup - FOOD! Delicious brownies, cookies, bread, salsa, candies - yum! It works just like the crafty-handmade sites we're used to, with sellers uploading pictures of their products, setting a price, and writing up a description. I love that there are no listing fees for sellers. Little Vittles only gets paid when a sale is made.
I could see myself as both a buyer and a seller on this site. I love to bake, and would love to make a little money in the kitchen. But, there are so many things that I love to eat, but haven't successfully made myself.
Little Vittles will be my new go-to site for thoughtful gifts. Without messing up my kitchen, stressing about packaging, or braving the post office line with a toddler in tow, I can send fudge to a friend on bedrest, celebratory cookies to a family member with a big achievement, or order up some Artisan bread to serve at a dinner party.
The Little Vittles site is super-easy to use, both on the buying and selling end. I love the navigation bar on the left, which inspires me to check out every yummy treat available. And the free sign up only takes a few seconds.
If you still have more questions, you can check out the video that explains how it all works.
The story behind this site is pretty amazing as well. I don't want to spoil it for you, so just watch this video:
